A Little about Me
Although I lived in Portland for many years, home these days is a tiny farming town on eastern Oregon's Columbia River plateau. I began my writing career at a a community newspaper in Eastern Oregon way back when, but for the past several years, I have been on my own, writing, writing, writing!
I am also part owner of a legendary, century-old, western bar and grill. (Stop by sometime!)
My education includes a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Oregon University in LaGrande and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction Writing from National University in San Diego. I am a certified Oregon State University Master Gardener and Master Naturalist.
When I'm not writing or gardening, I play the banjo, mandolin and piano. My husband and I are owned by an adopted greyhound, a little mutt, and a fat, lazy cat.
